Girls For A Change is a national organization that empowers girls to create social change. Girls For A Change provides girls with the skills, support and resources they need to manifest their visions for a more just society. Since 2001, Girls For A Change has trained more than 6,400 girls from low income communities to design and implement solutions to pressing issues they face in their own neighborhoods. They are no longer spectators in their own lives and communities, they become leaders.

Girls For A Change has been awarded a Draper Richards Foundation Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurship based on our potential to create wide scale social change and has twice been recognized by Fast Company Magazine as a "Social Capitalist Rising Star." Our vision is for all girls to have the voice, ability and problem solving capacity to realize their full potential. As GFC expands nationally to 30 cities in the next 10 years with our sustainable model and proven results, we have the capacity to transform society and the lives of tens of thousands of girls.
